This project was inspired by a close examination and experimentation with flowers and plants. My visual studies of petals and leaves inspired me to design abstract compositions that show details of texture, color interaction and natural pattern design.
The creative challenge was to design natural abstract compositions with a visual emphasis on patterns, texture and color interaction between leaves and petals. One of the main obstacles was to quickly finish the abstract so it could be photographed while the natural ingredients were still fresh.
Typography project inspired by "The Perils of Indifference", a speech by a Holocaust survivor and Nobel Laureate, Elie Wiesel.
The blurred vision of letterforms stemmed from the author's definition of indifference: "a strange and unnatural state in which the lines blur between light and darkness."

Symbol Design Project
This was a form project. The task was to create/design an innovative symbol combining existing letters that combine as one. Once the symbol was designed, a fictitious company name was selected that connects the norms of that industry with the look and feel of the symbol.
This poster was inspired by Bruce Mau's Manifesto for Growth:
- Process is more important than outcome
- Capture accidents
- Love your experiments
- Collect wrong asnwers as part of the process
The task was to design a poster with four typefaces, including materials, such as wood and thread.
